Jack Sparks is the director of communications of the American Humane Association (AHA), a national non-profit organization dedicated to protecting children and animals from violence, abuse, and neglect. In this capacity, Mr. Sparks oversaw the launch of AHA's "Free Farmed" program last year. This program certifies and monitors the humane treatment of farm animals. Farms receiving certification are able to carry the "Free Farmed" logo on their animal products. Mr. Sparks also spent over 10 years in Washington, D.C., working as press secretary for Senator John Glenn and the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs.
